Why We Funded
The Mirolo Charitable Foundation provided funding to CCAD, which allowed the school to dedicate the Amelita Mirolo Fine Arts Building as a permanent staple of CCAD’s campus. The grant that MCF provided went to renovation of the Fine Arts Building through the College’s capital campaign. The AMF is home to painting and drawing classrooms, individual studio spaces and the Beaton Gallery.
In 2022, CCAD agreed to sell the Amelita Mirolo Fine Arts Building. At that time, in recognition of the Mirolo Foundation’s contribution to CCAD, CCAD named its Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) Program in Visual Arts in honor of Amelita Mirolo as the “Amelita Mirolo MFA in Visual Arts Program.”
